YOUR ENVIRONMENT IS EITHER BUILDING YOU OR BREAKING YOU

I used to think I could do it all on my own.
Train hard.
Build a business.
Stay motivated.
And just “figure it out” as I went.
But the truth?
When you’re the only one in your circle trying to level up… it gets lonely.
You only have one set of ideas to work off.
Your own.
And you don’t have it all figured out.
None of us do.
Worse, it gets normal to coast.
That was me for a long time.
I’d get short bursts of motivation, then fall off.
Momentum was hard because I was the only one holding myself accountable.
No feedback. No pressure. No standards except my own.
And when life gets stressful with work deadlines, social pressure, relationships and you start slipping.
You train less. You eat worse. You lose clarity.
And because no one around you is dialled in either, it doesn’t feel like a problem.
This is the trap most high-performing men in the city fall into.
You’re surrounded by people who work hard and play hard.
But very few are actually in control of their life.
They numb stress with food, alcohol, distractions… and you end up doing the same.
That changed for me when I stopped trying to man up and go solo and started investing.
In fitness coaching.
In business mentorship.
In being around people who actually get it.
People who expect more from themselves and from you.
People who will call you out, back you up, and raise the bar just by being there.
That’s what we’ve built inside The City Shredder.
It’s not just a program.
It’s a room full of people who are going through the same pressure and still showing up.
They train hard. They stay sharp. They win.
Because they’re not doing it alone anymore.
If you’re stuck in your head trying to figure it all out, I’ve been there.
Drop the ego.
Get in the room.
Surround yourself with people who actually raise the standard.
